no, now is not the time. at least it wasn’t Wednesday. I went to rediversion. It sucked. not just for me, but also for my crackhead and democrat brethren on the bank and the 3 boats i could see. 15 were caught from the bank in the hour i was there. the boats did worse.
I’m waiting on tugted to greenlight me before I go back. That drive is too long for the 3 bucks I caught.
also St Stephens is decaying. you know its bad when the huddle house and the laundro-matt/lottery joint are gone.

Had one of the best bites ever today. Myself, the world’s greatest, & his buddy went today. No current & we were getting them almost every cast. They turned the water on & it slowed for a few but cranked back up. Lightning & rain ran us off.

Pretty good 2.5hrs today Shad fishing with a local guide who needed some bait. No flow, but we put on a clinic. Peapod didn’t show

In these cases, do you tip the Guide or does the guide tip you?
I went out for shad for the first time this week after seeing here they are running. It was a blast, they fight like hell, especially on a fly rod!

There’s lots of herring in the rediversion. Plenty of NC boats there jigging for them. Also went today & Peapod wouldn’t come

Caught some roe about 1030 on Tuesday and then they shutoff
So we left
I feel sorry for the fellas that have to travel a long ways
You don’t happen to know what time of day they was catching herring?
