lamson is a good reel, with a small design flaw. the drag “cap” that holds it all in and waterproofs will come off and it will all come apart b/c the spool is pressing against it and moving it when the drag is set tight- but only in right hand retreive (or Left but think its right) not really an issue unless your crankin down on sumpin big
