I think it’s a joke to look at a forecast area as big as cape fear to 31 N days away even the night before it’s still amazingly broad. Wish we still had the 20 to 60 nm forecast. That’s like not going to the beach because they said it was going to rain in the upstate.

We do have a 20-60.
You must fish way south. The closest I can find is SAV south to Altama sound out 20 to 60. Although if your fishing out of Charleston it’s likely a more realistic forecast than the cape fear to 31 N. Forecast zones AMZ370, and AMZ372 have shown unavailable for years. Unless I just don’t know where to find them. Maybe I’ve got a banana in my computer…?..
I use sailflow and intellicast (brunswick), 20nm (Santee-Edisto), 20-60 (Sav to Altama). 226 hole is pretty much due East of Savannah, so it would be just outside the top of that range of that one, but close enough for government work.
I’ve had two banana experiences, one the boat shut off and wouldn’t crank. Literally restarted on first crank after the banana’s were found/tossed. The other was no fish until I found the bananas in a new guy’s bag and tossed them then we started catching. I’m not superstitious at all, that banana thing is real. No one has figured the science out yet.

why are there two ANZ899's, and what happened to ANZ835?
I figured this would get some jack ass responses! I know how to check reports, just starting conversation. Never fails to amaze me why I know many people who dont bother with this site

Its not that…you just don’t talk about the weather until the night before…fisherman are a superstitious bunch.
May all your favorite bands stay together…
That's BS, talking/discussing fishing weather days ahead of a trip is not going to alter the forecast, same as a banana not allowing you to catch fish. I have eaten many a banana on the ride out, and returned with a box/limit full of whatever I was targeting. I believe some just use it as an excuse for poor fishing skills, or the fish simply weren't biting that day,S h I t happens you know.
Below looks like a typical offshore forecast for the warm months in Chas SC.

I blame everything on bananas. In fact, i only have two standing rules on my boat: no bananas, no glass.
One day i fished the jetties and dynamite all day without a bite until i discovered someone had brought one. Made him throw it over and fish began to hit the deck.
Another inshore day, no fish for a couple hours, then a line tangles around a prop that was freespinning in the current, then to top it all off… Right as i’m about to crank the motors to make dinner reservations at morgan creek, my vhf sounds a low battery alarm, but its too late, wont crank. At this point in time, my mother in law promptly breaks out the banana chips and glass bottled banana bread beer. I couldnt do anything but laugh
I’m a very superstitious fisherman. My new belief is a couple drops of hot sauce over the side of the boat fires up the fish.
Had a trip this year where the bite turned off until I broke out the hot sauce. After sending some overboard, Before I could turn around and drop it back in the cooler, had a big phin hit the flat line that I had just doused.
We had a banana experience offshore this year after no fish for 3 hours of trolling…and no **** within 2 minutes after thebananas were thrown in the ocean we had a double knockdown, the first 2 of the day. I always said it was BS, but not this time…we came home with 14 in the box.

yeah sure, just like a strike after lighting off that fish whistle.
I’ve been a naysayer on this one for YEARS…but it’s true. I saw it for myself.
We are learning more about science every day… How can we say definitively that when bananas are introduced to fiberglass and saltwater, that they don’t cause a small ripple in the spacetime continuum? One thing is for sure… I don’t want to find out…
Also, we did a recent experiment… I caught someone trying to put some banannas on my boat… They never hit the deck or crossed the plane of the gunnel, so I figured we were okay. I instructed them to leave the entire bunch of perfectly ripened bananas on the dock (4am in the morning). We fished all day, and when we returned, the bananas were still all there, sitting on the dock, gleaming in the sunlight… Again, perfectly ripened… Why did these bananas not disappear? I think that this only leaves 1 possibility… That when the bananas came in contact with the salty air, a wormhole was opened in the fabric of time and time was frozen around those bananas until we (those who opened up the wormhole) returned. Because we shared the same dimension of time as the bananas, we were the only ones who could see physically see them. Otherwise someone else would have taken and eaten them… That’s really the only explanation that makes sense, since everyone loves bananas…
