Sorry no post in quite a while as I was waiting on this to be hopefully be dealt with and over this fall per the instructions given to me by Tidewater back in June by Chris who took over for Lee in the Customer Service Department.
Well this has turned out to be nothing more than a bunch of bull**** and has wasted more months of everyones time. I was told back in June that they wanted me to hold on to the boat over the summer until the fall and that they would address all of the issues (most of which still exist even after 2 other trips) during the fall. Contacted TW by phone call back on Oct. 25th to discuss the boat coming to the factory (for a third time), Chris acknowledged that this was a good time and to re-send him the list of things to be fixed as per the warranty and our discussions/past visits. Pulled the list together over the weekend and sent him a very detailed email with images of the issues on Monday Nov. 5 per his request, radio silence. Did not hear back from him at all regarding the emailed list nor our previous arrangements about the boat coming back. I had to call and track him down over a period of three days and finally got him on the phone Nov. 26th. The entire time on the phone all he did was make excuses about not being able to get the boat there due to many other boats in the warranty department at the time and the Tidewater plant move. I promptly explained to him that none of this was of my concern and we had a documented agreement that the boat was due to be in the factory in the fall of 2018 to address the warranty issues that were not fixed when the boat was at the factory 2 other times (for the same crap). At this point he had not idea when he would be taking the boat back and I demanded a date, he settled on the week of Dec. 17th for the boat to be picked up and addressed before the end of the year. Well what do you know, more lies from Tidewater, received an email Dec. 11th that the boat would not be picked up until after the second of January because of their shutdown etc. I r
Very well said, I’m glad now I didn’t get one when I bought my new boat.
I think the moral of the story is to NOT take delivery of your new boat until any and all issues that were discovered during delivery and sea trial are addressed.

I don’t think that is a fair assessment. Many of the issues did not show their head until after the boat was used for a short period of time. The issues up front did not make the boat unusable, Tidewater drug their feet as long as the could with the dealer until I got involved with it directly. Dealer has been great at getting things done when those things were in their control, Tidewater on the other hand has not.
Very easy to say not to take delivery until things are all addressed when the majority of these issues were not apparent nor known at the time of delivery.

So, your problems have been ongoing since August 2017?
Totally pathetic customer service on the manufacturers side. Thanks for sharing your experience, this is another boat I can scratch off my list to buy when I start looking.
Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
