Tracker boats?

They were warped so bad that when you tried to trim up the motor even a smidgin, they would bounce so bad it would beat your teeth out. I’m talking hitting the trim button more than 2 quick bumps. Gave them back to the dealer and bought a triton Jon. Nice hull on it and would run perfect. You could trim that hull way up and she would run awesome. My cousin bought a tracker and had same issue. The dealer ended up putting a wedge on the motor to bring it down even at a steeper angle to get it to run even semi ok. I will never own another one.

Thanks for the reply. Two in a row? that’s some bad karma. I must say that the one I owned would porpoise if you trimmed it up too high… Knock it down a bit when it started “purposing” (sp?)and no problem. I found mine was a little heavy in the arese end moved the trolling battery and cooler up front and it helped a ton.

No problem. Tracker is a cheap boat the appeals to the masses who don’t have an appreciation for how boats are supposed to handle. I got such a bad taste after dealing with their customer service department that I vowed never to go down that road again. There sure are a lot of them out there, but so are a lot of Bayliners. I put them in the same category.
