Unfortunately the @sswipes on the SAFMC are appointed not elected. If we could elect these positions, we could get a better demographic of people that actually fish and have a clue as to what is going on off the coast. No PEW money, no agenda (David Cupka) and no conflict of interest!

We COULD pick who represents us on the council and what laws pass IF enough of us wanted to unite. Apathy is our biggest enemy, much more so than any eco-corporation or bureaucrat.

This isnt a SAFMC issue, it concerns the Endangered Species Act and NMFS.
