Up to my a@@ in mud !!!!

In mud you need to learn to walk a little differently…

NEVER keep your feet together. If you do you may literally be stuck!

Whn walking though the mud if your leg sinks then throw your free leg as far forward as you can. Lean into that leg and it will sink but will free up the stuck leg. Take the now free leg and put it out in front of you and lean into it.

I have traveled hundreds of feet in some very deep mud that way and it works. Be warned that you will be exhausted at the end of the trip!:smiley:

To figure out what Pluff mud is…Just smell it. It is obviously decades of fish, oyster, crab and bird poop! Plus some decayed plants, bud cans, crab floats, old docks, fishing poles, but mostly SHOES!

Something to do with getting caught up in the marsh on an outgoing tide…marsh hen hunting can be tough! :smiley:
