This is the best time to take the insurance money,repower with four strokes, and sell off your current engines for parts b/c those engine will never be worth more money than the insurance dollars.
You could could also buy newer used Yams for $5-7k and not have the worries of an submerged engine.
the thing that REALLY gets me is that this exact same lift had a
malfunction last year… damaged the lift, not the boat…was
repaired ( but apparantly not “fixed” )… and now this happens…
seemingly a repeat of the same malfunction.
I was not in the market for another boat OR other engines…
but… trying to be the good 'ol hippie that i am… i’m trying to let it go…
anyone know where i can rent a 27-33 ft center console until this is
all ironed out?
