Looks like we’ll have to slay 'em this season. Thanks for the early alert.
If you’re lucky enough to live at the beach, you’re lucky enough.
So call me curious but where the heck did you find 72 degree water in 150-170’ feet Saturday? I’m looking at the SST charts for Sat and looks like 68 is about as warm as the 30 fathom contour got. Last year at this time we dragged wahoo wackers and lead and cedar plugs at 12 knots along the ledge from SW Banks to the Ledge in 70 degree water. We had one hit deep and a couple of tunny on the cedar plugs. Seems like maybe I need to give it another try! Nice work.

We must have gotten lucky and found a small eddy. Perhaps my temp gauge was off? I dunno know, maybe just “living right”

I think 2 or 3 were on them, others on a wahoo wacker on the planer. The know we missed 2 more on the planer, just couldn’t keep them on. You should have been there.
Solid day’s worth of work there…
Classic case of the ends justifying the means. A cold ride is worth it when you have a day like that. Congrats!
Nice job Tracey. Russ
