I have purchased several atwood products that were faulty out of the box. This includes primer bulbs. Solved - I no longer purchase atwood products. Just my 2cts.

I think I’ll move away from Atwood products also.
One exception is the glass fuel filter. I think I’ll keep that in place just to be able to see if there’s any air being sucked in down stream. I’ve fought this problem so long and I think I’ve finally solved it or very close to solving it. The sight glass filter has helped me to know when I’ve made progress with purging the system of air.
The glass filter keeps you honest - there’s air it or there’s no air in it…
