yeah these “roaches” are anywhere from 4 to 12"–think they were released in the pond years ago by somebody fishing with regular shiners and just took hold–i cant imagine they arent already in all the lakes around here – i gotta do a little more searching on it -wish i had a pic of one i could post --they do have a light golden/bronze color on the underside
