What's up with fellow fishermen?

First of all I call BS on CRM’s story of that person being a guide. Brandishing a weapon is a felony and could cause him to lose his license.

This problem doesn’t just happen on the lake. Today I was at the Capers Reef all by myself and a boat came up and threw threir anchor within 30 yards of me. Seems like every boat that comes in there has the Caison plugged in to their GPS. I just pulled my anchor and moved away from them. People really have no clue on the water these days. Probably be what ends up running me off of it.

CRM full of BS? That’s new!

He claimed to be a guide. My story is not BS. Was he a guide??? I have no idea. Was in the mid 90’s when it happened.

Wile pulling board in the headwaters of a creek at Hartwell a few years ago I had a DNR boat come by me and shocked the whole area in front of me, and we were catching good fish uptill then! I think they could have waited a few hrs til we left!

[sigh] … I thought I left all this at the Inshore Forum … appears things are boring on the coast …

NOTE: if you’re in a standard lake boat (not one of these idiots in a 32 foot deep V Bayliner who slow trolls around the lake to “sight see” and show his kids the “little fisher people”) then I prefer you NOT idle down 20 feet away from me and idle past … the wake from a boat on plane is considerably less than the wake from idling down … just blaze on past the Sea Pro covering 150’ of water with planers … PLEASE!!!

… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!
