I’m stoked to watch this develop…
I wish I was a project boat kind of guy, not married to the right woman for that!
I’m getting there. If you need pure grunt labor, I’d love to help.

Looks like you have your hands full, but I am sure it will mean that much more to you when you get it in tip-top condition. Hope it works out well for you and good luck!
Phin, a good friend bought a old 25 w twin 150 Johnson 2 strokes out of Homestead last June, fished it several times offshore Edisto last Summer and really loves the bote, guessing a 1986 ish vintage.
It is being totally and professionally re wired presently on my property in Awendaw , then it will return to the owners home in Camden, I am sure he would anwser any questions.
Let me know if you want his Phone number.
He just text me it is a 83 or 85

If it has the open transom with fold down gate ('83-'92 years), then it is not the same model as mine. Hull and layout on deck are slightly different. I think I’m going to get rid of my console if your buddy needs it. Should be the same as his boat’s.
Good to hear it has twin 150’s on the back. Makes me feel better about a single 250 four stroke weight wise if I find a cheap one.

Wes,
You know I live only 15 minutes away and will volunteer some hours to you when you need me. You got my number, I’ll wait for the call and bring my elbow grease!
“The problem that infuriates you the most is the one you are meant to solve.”
Might be moving the boat to a shop that’s even closer to you.
Be careful about what you offer me!
LOT of work needed.
