Tonight we routed our recess for the trim tabs and planked the sides. Spray rails next then glass!!

We were able to make some more progress over the weekend. We glassed the entire boat with two layers of 1708 biaxial glass and peal ply. We also started the fairing process using alexseal products. We dry fit the spray rails and should have them on and glassed in the next few days.
Excellent work, this is going to be a beautiful craft.
Do you have your own CNC router or do you sub it out? We are in North Charleston and have a CNC router. We build cabinets with it but have done jigs for aircraft work for several companies/individuals in the past few years.

Thanks everyone! Glad you like it!! We have a couple rounds of fairing in the books. Blocked the first coat of Alexseal 328 and spread some 202 filler yesterday. We are now ready to block the 202 and spray some more 328. After that it will get the spray rails installed.
Sprayed the 19’ with alexseal 202. Only a few more steps left in the fairing process and she will be ready to flip!!
Flipped the 19’ yesterday. After the jig was removed, two guys could easily lift the boat off the base and walk with it!!!
