A buddy and I trolled around and out from the dam. We only caught 2 cats. One was close to 20lbs., and the other was close to 15lbs. The wind was blowing pretty good with some nice gusts. We had to spray the floors down with the washdown every few minutes to thaw out the ice so we didn’t bust our rears. [:0]

I wouldn’t mind the fishing in cold wind if it came with some catching. At least you got a couple cats. Be careful out there fishing with ice on the deck. This is a bad time of year for swimming. I think I may shut it down until things warm a little, or maybe fish daylight for a change.
I would say it beats painting and getting a house ready to sell, but a freezing floor? C’mmon Lynn, Charity isn’t that bad is she? Glad you tried 'em out and hope to comeout of hybernation in a few weeks after the house goes up for sale. Did you see any menhaden pooping or on the screen? And, if I didn’t say it, hardcore!
