We got a late start yesterday but better late then never.went out of Charleston almost due east till we got into 100 ft of water dropped lines in around 930ish 15 min passed first line went off 1 dolphin in the boat. trolled a little while short strike. about an hour goes by nothing so we decided to change baits out put fresh on change trolling speed a little and sure enough dolphin 2 was on the boat. about 10 mins of getting the secound fish on board had anouther fish on. no jumping or anything so we were thinking the worst(shark)well we got the fish closer to the boat and first glance it looked like a bonita again we are thinking trash fish but it turned out that it was a black fin tuna. So count is 2 dolphin and a black fin do a little more trollong and pick up or third dolphin and we decided to head back to the hill and beat the rain so all in all not a bad day on the water. Ran into a local guy filling up his gas tank at the kroger thank you for the advise about the markers. He and his i am guessing wife were very helpfull people like them make the fishing experience a lot more safe and fun for everyone.
Glad you found some fish, what was the depth where you caught the blackfin? we saw what appeared to be skipjacks busting the water all day near the weedline that we fished.
it was 125 ft
