But there was a fundraiser for a fellow fisherman and there was a raffle for many great and wonderful things.
One of the many excellent raffle drawings was for a 1/2 day charter with Scotty @ Lowcountry Fly Shop charters, which I was lucky enough to win.
I will admit - I am maybe the worst fly fisherman ever. I would love to learn, but more than that I would love for you guys to get a chance to go and for this family to get more help with their adoption efforts.
I am not sure of the legality/transferability/mumbo jumbo, but as far as I know the trip is mine to do with as I like? And what I would like to do is raise some more money for their adoption -
Retail value of the 2 angler half day charter is $400- if one of you guys wants to contribute to the cause, let me know. Reserve I think should be at least $200. Highest bid (or highest 2 bidders if you want to go in together!) can pay directly to Jeremy + his wife. If bidding gets high enough I will pay the charter tip.
I got 1 bid 6/27 for the reserve of 200, and then another one later today for the same amount. You can PM/email me if you are interested. I emptied my PM box so fire away-
