Got a late start but the youngin didnt mind sleepin in a little. Fished the LR pulling boards and floats. Stayed deep, well what i call deep. Shallowest water we fished was 15’ deepest about 25’. Marked alot of fish at our last stop in 20’+ sitting either on the bottom or suspended. They wouldn’t come up for the baits and we didn’t feel like switching over to DRs.
Earlier in the day saw a bunch of perch and stripers packed in together feeding on a bait ball managed to :catch a nice fish there on a 1/2oz hopkins spoon and had 2 other rods start screaming at the same time. Landed all three. Pretty good since my boy isnt but 7. …lol… he took care of two of them while I had the one on the light tackle.
Beautiful day and quality father/son time. Hoping we can get where we go w/o taking the tablet along with us…lol…or maybe just take it with half a battery. 
Wore plum smack out…
All smiles later though. Hopefully I can get him cleaning fish soon and he may not be so set on bringing them home for lil bro and momma to see.

Caught 6 on flies yesterday and watched my buddies put a clinic with Alabama rigs…I swear those things are like cheatin. Mid-lake for birds and mine came up(mid-way up) two mid-lake creeks.
