Took the girlfriend out today for the last 4 hours of outgoing tide. This time of the year i normally throw artificials and flies, but since she came out i took a dozen blue crab out with me. We ended up catching 24 reds smallest one 25inchs to the biggest fish being 37inchs!
37! my goodness
37 or 38 inchs or so! Ruler only went to 35inchs and his tail was hanging past the 35!
very nice! yesterday was on like donkey kong. We had a similar day. One of the best days I’ve had in a long time.
Nice day out on the water for sure

THATS COOL! Great job.
Curious, where do people get their blue crab? I fish them when I catch them but have never bought some in advance

Gregory a week ago you were the zman master. This bait soakin concerns me.
As much as it hurt me to throw bait out I had to get the girlfriend on fish she reeled in 23 of them she let me get the smallest one! They have been eating that glow shrimpZ good though!
Crabs are still in my creek.

Great post. What a “winter” we’re having.

I cut all legs off crack the shell off of him and cut them in Halfs or quarters. They are alive before I cut them

I have crab traps out right now. Catching 8-10 the last couple times I checked the traps.
Get a cheap pair of kitchen shears from the Dollar Store to use when quartering the crabs. It’s neat and real quick to cut the crab legs off and when quartering them.
