Took my daughter out on the Folly River. Hit every hole and flat I know of and then some. Caught 1 16" flattie on a minner.
However; had a great time.

I took it for a ride the other day. The poling platform works out great and the boat is really stable. Its 5 foot wide at the bottom so that helps out. Living in Columbia makes it tough to gauge the weather and time but I will be hitting the salt somtime in the next week or so.
Palmetto, if you need any reports or weather, shout my way I work out there and see the river everyday I work, we caught a flounder 4 days ago on the Folly River too
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

I missed a nice flounder Saturday. He hit on a bomber badonkadonk slow sinker in natural croaker color on an oyster point at the mouth of a creek. He was barely hooked and I set the hook ad he was turning the bait cuz I thought it was a trout. I saw him the get spit the hook! Only shot at a fish all day!
There is no greater fan of fly fishing than the mud minnow.
