I plan on traveling down to the Shallow Water Fishing Expo this Saturday. If anyone is interested or wants to buy I can bring the rods down with me. That would eliminate any shipping costs. Call/Text 803-446-2724 or PM.
DF - I ended up not going due to my little one who was sick. So I stayed home and was Mr. Mom. I really wanted to go and I am sure I missed a very informative event. I need to let go these rods and surprised I haven’t received any offers. Let me know if you of anyone who wants two new inshore rods. Hope you were able to solve the car issue.
Replacing my radiator as soon as it comes in. I know all about being a dad first, not a role I’d ever trade. I was bummed about not making it as I had planned to spend the day at the expo with my son who is down at CofC.
I’d love to take one or the other (rods) off your hands but I am getting eaten one bite at a time by unexpected expenses. Besides, I’d actually have to go fishing. I have a rig I got for Christmas that has not gotten wet yet. Take it easy.
“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?
Thanks DF. I agree about not trading the experience about being a Dad. Hope your fix for your car troubles are expedited. Let me know if you ever want to do some striper fishing on Murray, i always have room.
Interested in the E6X, but worried about doing warranty through purchase distance so far away and I not being purchaser. Anyone with experience with replacing a G Loomis? I am rough on rods and looking pair it with a stradic 3k for spanish/blue plugging.
Pretty sure Loomis/Shimano went away from their “off the rack” warranty. I believe all warranty/replacement issues have to handled direct instead of through a retail dealer.
ALX being a SC company AND having a solid warranty is the reason I’m replacing everything with ALX rods.
In the future, where every stranger poses a potential threat, knowing the predator mindset is the only safe haven.
Sorry, been away for business travel. What I can tell you is, I have receipts for both rods for the warranty to be registered. The ALX BOKU has a three limited warranty. The G Loomis has a warranty but the “off the rack” warranty is no longer a warranty Shimano supports but there isn’t many companies left with that type of warranty. What I can tell you is these rods are top quality and only have been used once. For those who are really interested I will be more than happy to show the rods.
