Went out last night around the dam and almost got skunked. Got one short just before packing it up. Only marked a few fish. Any one have any better luck? Also, since I’m new to Murray, what do the striper do as it starts to cool off? I know at Hartwell they moved up into the fingers. Just looking for a little advice on location/fishing tactics.

They do the same on murray. they work there way up and also out into the creeks
Fish seem to be moving with all the bait. Smoked them yesterday with rigs. 2 right @ 21" and the rest 19-20". Caught 8 on the first pass around Hollow on some pts on the GPS. Buddy called and I reeled up and went and picked him up. Went back to the pts and we hooked up immediatly and the action was fast. Lots of multiples and like I said, keepers were in the mix. All are swimming free. Had to leave early. Marked a bunch and they were feeding. Put in @ Dreher. I like the u-rigs b/c the fish are feeding and moving and I can cover a lot of water. I always have a rod with a spook or spoon ready for schooling. Good luck.
