Close but no, this was in the Cooper, out of Bushy. The stripers are bigger on average in the Cooper. There are a few bigger ones in the Ashley, but speaking with jtsnake at DNR, there seems to be a big dropoff in numbers of stocked fish from year 2 to year 3 for some reason. The striper action will heat up soon. If you fish out of Bushy, always keep a rod with topwater plug rigged just in case they ball up some bait and start blitzing around you. You never know when it might happen but if you are not prepared you will kick yourself - ask me how I know
