10/1

Great morning of inshore fishing today. Weather was perfect and the fish were biting :sunglasses:

Finished at 11am with 4 inshore slams +

If you are lucky enough to go fishing in the next couple days, you’re lucky enough!

Water 75, clear
Low outgoing to incoming

This has been the best year for flounder for me ever. Had 6 today.

You guys are killing me. Haven’t fished since July. The fish gods are against me. I find myself sitting in my boat in the driveway making motor noises. The neighbors are starting to look at me strangely.

Trout, flounder, striped bass, AND a redfish!! Great day!!
Was this in the Ashley?

Stripper gave it away.

Close but no, this was in the Cooper, out of Bushy. The stripers are bigger on average in the Cooper. There are a few bigger ones in the Ashley, but speaking with jtsnake at DNR, there seems to be a big dropoff in numbers of stocked fish from year 2 to year 3 for some reason. The striper action will heat up soon. If you fish out of Bushy, always keep a rod with topwater plug rigged just in case they ball up some bait and start blitzing around you. You never know when it might happen but if you are not prepared you will kick yourself - ask me how I know

Great job, Optiker. Where can I get some of those jigheads?

Awesome job Optiker, I will be at bushy tomorrow morning most likely. Hope I have your luck.

220 Viper Sea Fox

At the jig head store!

I am going out in the morning. The redfish better beware!

Well done. Water color gave it away to me. I am hoping to find somewhere out of the wind on Saturday.

I am going into rantowles and bother Rick.

Dang, Op! You know you’re a boss when the captains are asking you questions! Good stuff as usual.

Artificials, Fritz? Do those 2 references ever belong in the same sentence?
