Headed out this morning before sunrise for a few hours. I decided to try my luck for some top water action. Had a few blowups just as the tide started to roll back in then nothing for about an hour. So I had a back up plan to go find a few sheepshead for dinner. I caught a few fish about 12 or so most were small around 12" to 14" ended up with three keepers 16" to 19" for the day and two straightened hooks.
Now on to the Bonus normally while fishing for sheeps I only fish one rod and don’t have time to screw around with a second. I decided to drop a mullet on a carolina rig out the back of the boat today. Ended up catching three overslot reds 27" to 31" and two more that broke me off. After the slow start in the morning it ended up being a good day.
