Fished high/ outgoing tide. Caught about four dozen shrimp in three cast on a mud bank in the Stono. Managed a terrapin in the first cast. First for me. Hit a few spots around the inlet with no success. Moved into governors cut. Stopped at a creek mouth I’ve never fished. Bottom was 20 feet deep at about 20 feet from the creek mouth and came up quick to the creek. Fished shrimp under popping cork and killed it. Trout every cast. Fish seemed to be at about 8 feet deep, right where the bottom dropped. Average size was 15 inch and under. Left fish biting because I needed to get home and tend to parental/ husbandly duties. Brought two trout home. Beautiful day. Nice ride in across the harbor. As usual pictures won’t upload to the new and “improved” sight.
Terrapin on live shrimp, nice! Time flies when your catching fish:+1:
Gotta love the “improvements”… Like flipping a rigged coin
