Dad and I put in at hatchery, real windy that am so we fished the back side of the landing. We managed 26 big bream. Threw about 10 or so back that were borderline. Fun day with my dad. Water temp was 69 degrees.
Those are some nice bream! What’s the water color looking like on the main lake?

Saturday it was grayish/milky cold. Going Thursday so I will update then.

What kind of presentation/bait were you using? I tried crickets on a bobber in the hatchery sunday and only landed a couple of small perch. I couldn’t locate one bluegill.

Crickets. The bream bite is tough right now. With water temps dropping in low 50s will have to find them in deeper water. Weekend may be ok with rising temps later in the day when it gets nice and warm. Good luck!

Cool. I’m heading out tomorrow. I plan on focusing on crappie and stripers, but I might get some crickets for tomorrow.
