10/19 report

Fished Sunday from low tide until sunset which was just after high tide. Loaded up on shrimp and went to a dock i like to fish and ended up with 9 reds 15-26 inches and two trout. My buddy called and wanted to fish so i went to the ramp to get him around 3. Stopped to get more shrimp and had no problems finding perfect bait sized shrimp. Picked him up and we fished a few more hrs and caught trout the entire time. Probably 25 or 30. HE had a red up to the boat and he swam into the swim latter and got off:roll_eyes: All fish were caught on live shrimp, but the biggest red i caught was on A FM. I had a few trout blow up on my skitter walk but they all missed it. One came completely out of the water while attacking the lure. He looked like a nice un too! Fishing is great right now. Lots of bait and the fish are hungry. Kept a 20 inch red and two 15in trout and a few big scrimp. Had blackened redfish topped with shrimp and some black eyed peas and rice when i got home:smiley: Also, Got a warning from DNR about not having nav lights on. I thought if you could see then they didnt have to be on. However, i was informed they have to be on at sunset. HE said it was 20 min past when they should have been on.

What rigging do you hook the shrimp up on?
