Fished Cooper tributaries. Slow going, but tagged 6 Reds between 15" and 25" and released a trout all towards the end of the falling tide. 1st two fish on Z-Man shrimp, the rest on live-ish shrimp. One bite on finger mullet. Burned through 3 dozen shrimp thanks to the bait thieves.
Creeks were alive with bait, tons of mullet and silversides around.
On a frustrating side note, I had 2 different boats come up to a dock we were staked next to and set up, close enough to read the serial numbers on their motors. All you can do is shake your head. Sad that I am getting used to it by now.
