10/24 - inshore slam

Got out this am about high tide.
Was a lot windier than I was expecting, but caught a couple of reds in the grass, moved over to the other side of the creek out of the wind and had another 7 or 8. Most of them with mud minnows under a cork, did have a couple on Vudu shrimp under a cork, and had one nice trout on a root beer/chartreuse paddle tail. moved up the river a bit, more reds, then had a different kind of bite, and it was a nice flounder.
Went to a totally different spot and had another 3 or 4 reds.
Nothing that big, but 15 or so reds, 1 trout and 1 flounder gave me my fist solo inshore slam. The only other slam was with captain Fritz and the flounder was so small it shouldn’t have really counted.
If you can get out on the water the bite is super hot.

cheers
