10-27 Big Bottom Bite / Flat Ocean

Left the dock at 7:30 and we were greeted with a beautiful ocean!!
Hit one of our normal spots and immediately started pulling fish over the rail!
Ended the day with:
20 B-Liners
20 Triggers
8 BSB
5 Silver Snappers
2 Gags
Great day on the water with the Jammer, Capt Dave, and a Hung Over Bahamian

Sure you have. You just didn't know that it was slang for red porgy.

Silver snapper (red porgy) are very thick on the ledge. Drop down a chicken rig with some squid on a good bottom spot and you will find them.

Caught all the B-Liners, Silvers and Triggers in 100-105’. Looks like at 100’ the bottom is covered up. It would appear that The Gags and BSB have started moving in 90-95’. Caught the B-Liners and Silvers on squid, Triggers on squid and Cigar minnows , Gags on Pinfish and BSB on everything we dropped down!

Not a big fan of Silvers (Red Porgy) but they are thick and BIG! We kept a few and released many more of the biggest ones we have ever seen - a few would have gone 18-20"!!

Thanks Guys!
