Made the trip down from the upstate with a buddy for a little weekend fishing and to spend some time with my grandparents. Fished Saturday morning and caught a few trout along some grass lines. Wanted to fish the evening and outgoing tide but dinner with the grandparents was on the schedule instead. Sunday morning fished the last bit of the outgoing and a few hours after the tide turned and ended with 8 redfish, 4 more trout and 2 sheepshead. 6 reds were in the slot with the biggest going 22" and the other 2 were just under at 14 inches. Only one keeper size trout, the rest were 12-13". Both sheepshead were 16" and made the trip home for the dinner table. That’s the best day of inshore fishing either one of us has had and just got us hooked even more since we’re still learning as much as we can and tried some new spots. Definitely made the trip down worth it and hopefully will be down again before long!
