Took the day off from work to enjoy a day on the water. I took a coworker buddy of mine that had never caught a red or a trout. He not only caught his first red but it was a fat 27" fish. He caught a couple dinky trout and then landed a fat 19" one.
We both caught nice fish and decided at 3:00 that we had to get on the road back home. We left the fish biting with grins on our faces.
I told him that today was exceptional and everyday would not produce fish like we caught today. He just asked when he could go back.
All fish were caught on rising tide with live shrimp on a float rig.
I love fall fishing.
