Had my first Margarita slam of the season today, while PeaPod was at work
I credit CrackerLarry for the name if you recall a post from last year. Thanks Larry! Margarita slams are both salty and sweet

Great day of fishing. I like how you record the data for DNR.

If youâre lucky enough to be fishing, youâre lucky enough.
Thanks. Iâve been a recreational tagger for a few years now. Itâs amazing how many fish get recaptured. You wouldnât believe it until you start tagging. It makes you realize, probably 1 in 5 fish that you catch have probably been previously caught and released by another angler. I would venture to bet that in the Wando that more like half of the fish have been caught more than once, due to the angling pressure.
I also fin clip striper (and cobia when I am lucky enough to get one - not so much this year). The fin clips are used for DNA analysis at DNR.
Lastly, I also organize an annual oyster planting event for SSWA with the SCORE team.
Iâm proud to help DNR in any way I can.
If anyone is interested in getting involved in any of these, PM me and I will put you in touch with the right contacts.
