Bottom fished in 90 ft area off seabrook. Beautiful day! Trolled plugs first thing, plenty of bonita out there. Pulled the hook ona suspected big king. First drop was huge grunt and something that drug us down and broke us off. Had a couple schoolie dolphin behind the boat at one point that didn’t want the chunked squid offering. Other than that a typical bag. Sounder didn’t seem to light up like normal though. Not sure if that’s just the time of the year or the sounder. Tried out a seaquilizer, worked pretty amazing! NOTHING floated off that was released!
How’s the 197 do for trolling etc? I have the same boat and have been kicking the idea around of taking it out further than the Charleston 60 to see if I can come up with some dolphin or wahoo.

I fished on my buddies edgewater sunday but the 197 does well trolling. Obviously pick your days but I’ve been to the ledge many times trolling on my 197 the front locker holds ice well but I always take a large fish bag as well in the off chance of a really big hoo that won’t fit in the box.
