I put in at the 41 bridge around 8am and stayed within 1/4 mile of the bridge all monring. First cast under a dock with a gulp shrimp produced a nice black drum that took me for a ride. After catching 5 trout and a redfish I headed up in the grass where I caught a few more reds. Nice morning on the water.
They are very similar, for me the easiest way to tell the difference is the teeth or lack there of with the Black Drum.
Well I’m always learning… I’ve never caught a black drum and the pic looks not so much like that on the dnr saltwater fishes chart but google image is my friend. Now I’ll know if I catch one!
nikon to check the difference you just stick you’re finger in there mouth right (LocalHero don’t do this) Well you can but if you do it to a sheepshead go ahead and call the doctor ahead of time
Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Great! So you can throw a kayak in there? I thought it was a private landing.
Thanks,

Its probably just a matter of time before they start charging but as long as you don’t get in the boaters way it hasn’t been a problem.

I spoke with the guy that handles the memberships and was told to park in the grass, stay out of the boaters way, and limit use to off peak times.

It is a private landing I use it also it costs $375.00 a year to join. Just curious where you are parking your vehicle?
