So I called Cabelas and they sent for my brand new defective $1000 Minn kota tiller trolling motor. They took it back without question and even appologized. The new replacement arrived and the skeg was aligned. I mounted it up and went fishing. I am pleased with it’s performance so far. The head did loosen up right away, but I was prepared with the right tools. Most pleased with Cabelas service. I will buy all expensive stuff from them from now on!

I have used a Minn kota fresh water unit, in salt, for years!!! Added extra paint, and changed screws to SS Screws! Works great!
