107mph pontoon (900 hp)

This is just beyond nuts. The snarl of the engines alone is enough scares me. I’m not entirely sure I’d actually get into this boat… well OK yes I would.

I would say a little back heavy.

Ha, that is ridiculous.

I’ve been on one that did 55mph with a 5.7 mercruiser in it and that was scary enough. They lean out when you turn. I’d hate to hit another boat’s wake at that speed!

You’d really hate to hit the wake of this thing, 140’ long doing 74mph.

You just have to ask…WHY?
I really don’t think those pontoons were designed to be beat like that.
Pretty dangerous if you ask me.

Skint back!!!

My guess is the guy is dumber than a bag of hammers. He doesn’t know any better.

Just a matter of time before he becomes a statistic

(**() those motors sound freaking awesome. Turns out people who put 900 horses on a pontoon boat aren’t smart enough to wear life jackets at 106 mph, that surprises me. I love the second comment down that says it would be funnier if someone was grilling up front while they were doing this video. Haha

At 106mph, a life jacket would basically ensure that your torso would float after your limbs were yanked off by the impact on the water.

I’ll agree with that! I can only imagine the stress on those toons in a straight line, lord know what it would be in a turn. I would like to see it in person though, pontoon boat kicking a rooster tail like that!

Was fixing to walk outside and rain just started back up, Thanks Redfish now I have some more youtube to watch and not feel guilty about it.

And only if the life jacket didnt come off the torso at 107 mph when said torso was skimming accross the water… Any hiccup during one of these runs would result in a closed casket funeral, if not an empty casket…

I’m calling BS on that video. That thing isn’t going as much as a hair over 103. Sooner or later the Captain will win his coveted Darwin Award.

That’s sweet

I have a really close friend who just bought a 29’ tritoon with 3 (that is correct) three 300’s mercurys on the back. i guess he did it because he could. this is right here on lake murray. i could buy me a new 21’ tidewater for what he probably paid for one of the engines.

Pretty stupid.More money then brains.
