Was planning to go out this morning but, when i checked out the 100mph winds i decided it wasnt worth the trouble of fighting the wind… so i rolled back over in bed and decided i would wait until high tide (which was around 1 oclock) and fish the outgoing tide in the afternoon. Nothing much goin on until the tide started moving out… and even then it was a little slow fishing, because of the wind i was dealing with… but once i found some territory that was out of the wind, i started catching fish… ended up the day with 12 trout… mostly all between 13 - 16 inches and a few dinks… nothing big this trip but it was a beautiful evening… got back to the truck right before dark… beautiful sunset and finally no wind… im goin back out tomarrow with my buddy jack… we’re gonna motor up to hamlin sound and drop the yaks off the boat… ill get back to yah on that…
oh yeah… all the fish came on the electric, chicken… i tried throwin the mirro lure… but nothin taking…
Good luck, and tight lines!!!
