Caught 11 reds and three trout on Saturday…all the reds were on the lower end of the slot - biggest was around 18". Biggest trout was 15.5". All on plastics - Z-man 3" minnowz, “mulletron” color (dark grey top/light grey belly with some glitter) was the most productive.

Where did you go? Allen and I fished Sullivans yesterday. I got 3 reds and 3 trout. Reds were small 14-18". The trout were in the 13-17" range. Kept one of each (17") Trout for diner last night and a blackened redfish sandwich for a snack today.

Yes, we paddled up to breech inlet looking for bait at low tide. Didn’t find many finger mullet. I did manage three horse mullet with one cast in a 3’ net. We worked our way back before the tide started moving in and worked the docks. Caught all the reds in one spot. Didn’t have any luck fishing the deeper water. Everything I caught was off the banks.

That was a great day out there I had 3 reds one was 19 1/2" and I had 6 trout the biggest of those was a 15" (one red caught on a StreakZ? Curly TailZ in new penny with chartreuse jig head and all the others were caught on a D.O.A. CAL curl tail in Rootbeer/Chart Tail w/ 1/8 oz jig head.
