Got on the water at 6:30am Friday, watched the sunrise and didn’t leave the water until a few minutes before totally dark. With the weather we had a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Right off the bat, landed a runt red, just short of slot, on a Vudu shrimp under a popping cork. Didn’t catch another one until tide was rolling out and almost dark. In between the reds, I caught over 30 trout, most on trout tricks and the same vudu shrimp/popping cork. Only a couple were over 15" but it was still fun. I did pull out 3 flounder, the largest being 14.5" but let them all go. Finished up the day with a 24" red that took me on a wild ride, fought as if he was considerably larger. I’d definitely say yesterday was a great day. I’ll add some pics later tonight.
Sounds like a great day to me.
Congrats!
