The weather just looked too good so we hit the road after Thanksgiving lunch and got rigged up. I hadn’t trolled since June and had some new riggers to try out ( Thanks Marsh Tacky Carbon) but I heard some reports of Wahoo and black fin.
Cleared the inlet @6:45 to the calmest ocean I have seen in a while. Easy cruise at 40 until about 20 miles from the ledge. Wind against current waves but not bad.
Before we had the lines out fish on and my son makes quick work of a slinger dolphin. Started working the ledge and had constant action with Wahoo cut offs, blackfin, and too many little Tunny to count.
Ran out of bait just after lunch and ended up with 1 Wahoo, 4 black fin, and 1 dolphin.
My wife was not happy with my sons shirt of choice lol
