on a 17 to 19 foot boat is it worth the extra money to have a 115 HP motor. Is the 115HP motor a little less noisy and it does not need to turn the extra RPMs to do the same job? Maintenance cost on the two will it be about the same? Is it best just to go with the max HP rating for the hull. Is the motor block the same just the head dirrerent?
Thanks,

Always get the maximimum HP if you can swing it. I see no downside except the pocketbook in the beginning. However, you will get some of that back if not all at resell.
