Well, I had one of those days that makes me want to give up yesterday. So, I went home. I thought about fishing. I went and looked at the fuel guage, and there was about a half a tank, so I loaded up. Went to little river and trolled for 3.5 hours. Ended up with 4 but only 2 keepers at 18 & 17. Enough for dinner. Did me a lot of good to be out there. When I got there, it was the end of the falling tide. Nothing bit after the tide went slack or started back in. All fish caught on red 1/4 oz heads and candy corn body. Good luck to whoever gets to go the next few nice days. Looks like a real cold front is coming towards the end of next week.
Glad to hear it. I wish I was there to catch some. I may be back out there next Sunday depending on the weather and if my 7yr old wants to go. I like the cooler weather, but not so excited about the fresh water in our inlet though. We cannot complain though. The fishing has just been stellar this fall for our trout! Keep up the reports goozer…
