I fished the last two hours of the outgoing tide tonight and caught three trout while slow trolling. Only one was keeper size, the other two were 13". Caught two on a houdini colored zman paddle tail lure, and the other on an electric chicken colored lure. Caught in water depth 7-10 feet just bumping the lures along the bottom.

Pretty quiet night. I only saw one other person fishing - a guy in a canoe headed up stream toward Paradise boat ramp. I was the guy wearing the Bose headphones (listening to football) and trolling down river. :slight_smile:

Oh, and I lost a rod and reel tonight. If anyone sees it or hooks it, I’d REALLY appreciate knowing.

you should carry more rods to try and cast the other one to retrieve the one overboard…ive had 2 big reds rip rods out my boat this summer and by the grace of God i got both rods back w the fish still on them! good luck hope you at least get some new gear for Christmas!
