My father in law is visiting and he has never caught a redfish. Was hoping to change that. Got out on the outgoing, first stop I had a small red on a Vudu. Then some dolphins started going crazy about 40 yards away, feeding frenzy, and they seemed to push some reds down to us. FIL had a very nice first redfish, I’d guess about 28"+. Dolphins disappeared so I moved us closer to where they had been feeding and we caught 6 or 7 more reds, all but 2 were a good size. Most caught by my FIL in white Vudu shrimp bumped along the bottom, I had one or two on a disco chicken.
Best day on the water, so happy to see my FIL as happy and excited as a kid.
Nice report and Great feeling when it all comes together.
Good work putting him on some fish!
