Fished 12/20 from 10.30 to 3 when the bottom fell outta the sky. It was windy and rainy all day. The fish finder worked its butt off showing us all the fish, but they were not hungry. Weather got them all weird. We managed to get 5 all 20-21" but pretty fat fish. And one durned ole largemouth. All fish were caught in 7’-12’ of water. Running planers off the banks were most productive for the weather. Ready for this wind to stop to get back out there.

I had to struggle up LR yesterday but finally found em in 13-20 feet of water. 4 hours of bank pulling yielded nothing. Biggest 2 were 27 and 28 inches. Could have used those in the tx last Saturday.
Going out tomorrow. Hopefully will have something to report. This cold front may have changed their feeding habits for sure. AQ how muddy was the big. Haven’t been on that side for a week or two for fear of the mud.
Weston, I do get out at least one day on the weekend when school is in session. When I’m off, I fish 2-4 times a week. Over the past few, I’ve averaged around 85 days on the water per year. I keep and eat fish quite a bit but also release a good many decent ones. What can I say? I love it!
I am blessed to have a wife who understands that it is part of who I am. I certainly wish that for you in the future:smiley:
