I don’t always fish in button-down shirts but I just got back from afternoon service and figured I’d take a few casts before I went inside. Caught this guy on a paddle-tail MinnowZ (as you can see in the first pic). It was just after dead-low… coming in, but just barely.
Here’s another pic I tried to get myself into. I don’t know how you guys take such good pics at arm’s length.
There was a lot of splashing around but I couldn’t tell if it was jumping mullet or trout feeding. I only caught this one red in the 20 minutes I was on the dock and I didn’t happen to be lucky enough to be looking right where a splash happened.
Oh, a bald eagle flew over too while I was fishing. That was neat. Wish I could get a good picture of him but it was too far away to show up good on my iPhone.
