Paddled Cinder creek yesterday afternoon for a few hours on the falling tide. Clear water made it easy to see the fish but the wind made it difficult to keep from spooking them. Finally caught a break and saw a school in a hole. Staked out and caught 6 one was about 14" and all the rest were over the 25" mark on my kayak. Fun way to spend the afternoon. Put the boat in this morning and had to burn a lot of fuel and run 30 miles just to catch 8. Some days I would rather be in the kayak. Both days all fish were caught on either jerk baits or bucktails.
