My son recently picked up a little whaler, so I gave him mine and figured I would pick another up another at Haddrells my next time down, which is where I bought that one. Stopped in last week and it turns out they no longer have them (12’, they still carry 8’ and 10’). I called Stick-It and they confirmed they are no longer making the 12 footers.
They guy I talked to said they thought it was overkill and were hearing from people who were not happy with the 12’ and many were cutting them down to shorten them.
I figured I’d post here and see if anyone may have one they are looking to get rid of. If you have a 12’ and would prefer a shorter one, I will trade for a brand new 8’ or 10’…or just buy it outright.
I live in Columbia, but my son lives in Mt P., so either location will work.

these guys are local. It says they can make up to 12ft.

I didn’t like my 12’ pole. 10’ is perfect for me. Anything longer and they don’t hold as well and flex too much.
10’ pole gives me 6ft of water, 1 foot above the surface and 3ft in the ground.
Holds a 20ft CC just fine.
The 12ft pole would have 9+ft of pole above ground, this causes it to bend over and pull out of pluff mud. Just not rigid enough. Might as well get a Push Pole and use the pointy end.
Titan will get you setup. I got my 10ft stake out poles and 14’shrimp poles from him. Super easy to deal with and delivers. Make sure you get the metal tips.

Thanks. I did a search on “anchor pin” before posting this and they did not come up. Pretty sure I only saw Stick-It and Wang…and some DIY ideas.

Yea. That is pretty much the ■■■■■■■■ Stick-It said they had received from others as well. However, I want to use when fishing shallow in fresh water where there will be no current. With no current running I figure I could anchor in 8’ or so.
For inshore, my plan is to put some sort of stopper at about 8-10 ft. This should keep the line from sliding up to the T handle, so I will basically be using it as a 8-10 pin.

If you use it in a solid mounting sleeve, rather than just a line tied around it, it is much more effective to me. I keep 2 on my boat, they are both 8’, I don’t want a 12’. The primary one goes in the bracket, and if the boat wants to spin around I’ll stick out another and tie it to the mid-ship cleat.
