Anybody know where you can get a 12 volt lightbulb and the fixture with alligator clips?

I just took a clamp on standard workshop light (120V), clipped the plug end off and hooked up alligator clips to the wires. Then get yourself a 12v bulb and you are good to go. I got it all from my friendly local Ace hardware store!

12V bulbs are at lowes, home depot and most hardware stores, clamp ons…same.
The “spreader lights” you see on Ttop boats are great. They throw a wider more disbursed light and can be easily bolted to pvc pipe, bamboo or even a broom handle.

Harbor Freight has “offroad driving lights” or something like that $10 for a set of two. They are rectangular fog light, basically like a spreader light. Kinda cheap and crappy, made in China, but if you replace the hardware with stainless stuff they last forever and you can’t beat the price.

Remember thr bigger the wattage the more drain on the battery! Check out the LEDs they wiil shine forever on a charge!Harbor freight had some last year pretty cheep.
who needs 12 volt bulb??? when u gots le’roi and/or a hed lamp, like boz tri to git me to uz dat firs time, alz goot! Seriously, Chas harware on Wapoo haz dem! Also most hardware(NOT THE BIG BOX ONES!!!) and tackle shops got em! I personally use the highest watt possible! As long as its hooked to the engine, you should be good…that is if he alternator and engine is in good working order. Also, One issue I have run into on me fath-in-law batea is that when the engine is in “idle” due to working the poles…the batt runs down to the point that engine wont crank if you shut it off. Corse dare is ALWAZ Le’roi!!! hab unz noticed a patrn yet?
